International Football Coaching Conference Australia (IFCCA) is pleased to announce sports presenters Simon Hill and Stephanie Brantz as the conference’s event moderators.
Hill and Brantz will join a host of experienced football professionals at the 2019 event, to be held at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast on Saturday, 25 and Sunday, 26 May.
Boasting 27 years of broadcasting experience, Hill has worked for both radio and television networks including Fox Sports, SBS, ABC and BBC.
An experienced commentator of both domestic and international football, Hill has worked on some of the game’s biggest events including three FIFA World Cups, 12 consecutive Hyundai A-League Grand Finals and three consecutive AFC Asian Cup Finals.
Hill said he was looking forward to being a part of the upcoming IFCCA event.
"I'm always keen to further my knowledge of football, even though I work in media not coaching,” Hill said. “I’m looking forward to hearing from some fascinating speakers, and helping to facilitate some interesting debate.
“Football is ever-evolving, and conferences like this keep us all at the cutting edge."
Hill will be joined by fellow sports presenter and wife Stephanie Brantz as an event moderator at the international conference.
Brantz has extensive experience working as both a sports reporter and commentator for The Nine Network, Fox Sports, ESPN and the ABC, where she has anchored the coverage of the Westfield W-League and the AFC Asian Cup.
Throughout her career, Brantz has interviewed hundreds of athletes and personalities from a variety of sports including Australian footballers Harry Kewell, Lucas Neill and Tim Cahill.
Having previously hosted functions for Football Federation Australia (FFA) and Sydney FC, Brantz said she was looking forward to adding IFCCA to her list.
“I’m really excited to be involved in the first national coaching conference in Australia in almost a decade,” Brantz said.
"Ken Stead and his team at IFCCA have done a brilliant job in assembling an elite group of thought leaders across all aspects of the game.
“I look forward to hearing their views as we continue to seek the best way forward for football in Australia.”
