Why IFCCA is the ultimate opportunity for grassroots clubs to invest in their future?

The growth of grassroots football through the ranks of Australian sport has seen football become the nation’s most popular sport in terms of participation. To facilitate the continued growth and development of the game from the ground upwards, players, coaches and officials remain eager to stay at the forefront of competition, yet continue the evolution of their own intrinsic club values to meet future football demands.

The role of IFCCA is to provide an opportunity for grassroots clubs to invest in the current and future direction of football, particularly football coaching practices, placing themselves in positive stead moving forward whilst benefiting their coaching standards in the short term.

IFCCA speakers and panellists will ensure all delegates reap the rewards of attending Australia’s first event of its kind in nine years, through the delivery of cutting edge insight, research and approaches to influence coaching across both metro and regional Australia.

Global industry-leading football professionals will be placed under the one roof, allowing clubs of all sizes to benefit from an international standard of coaching techniques used by academies such as Qatar’s Aspire Academy, Italian giants Inter Milan, English powerhouse Manchester City, and Portugese super club, FC Porto.

The likes of Aspire Academy’s Jonatan Cabanelas will enable delegates to understand how to develop autonomous players through the development of progressive and systematic training methods whilst FC Porto’s Vitor Matos will present delegates with Tactical Periodization methodology focused on the teaching-learning approach to training.

The only Italian club to have avoided relegation since its inception, Inter Milan will provide IFCCA with a showcase of their academies methodology, specifically the desire that every child can have the opportunity to grow and train with international standards – with mistakes being the first step in improving.

Brisbane Strikers’ Technical Director, and former Real Madrid Academy coach Nacho Ferrer, will give delegates an analysis of training methods used to enhance player decision-making. These valuable methodologies anticipate a worthy & valuable investment for any and all grassroots clubs focused on the future, by enabling elite coaching methods to educate the growing number of young Australians who become a part of the world game.
